Mandi (Kurzen) Dudgeon ’01 has been made partner at Carlock, Copeland & Stair. She is a member of the South Carolina office’s commercial litigation team and handles a wide variety of litigation matters, focusing her practice on advising and representing attorneys, real estate agents, accountants, and other professionals. Mandi graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she was a member of the South Carolina Law Review Editorial Board.
Mandi is active in the ABA Lawyers Professional Liability Section and President of the Charleston Lawyers Club. She previously served as co-chair of the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyer’s Division (YLD) Marketing and Publications Committee and editor of the YLD’s quarterly publication The SC Young Lawyer. Mandi is a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rated attorney and has been included in the South Carolina Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in 2012 and 2013 as one of the best young lawyers in professional negligence defense matters. Less than three percent of the lawyers in the state are named to the list.
Mandi and her husband, Dr. Wes Dudgeon ’02, a professor of Health and Human Performance at the College of Charleston, live in Charleston with their daughter Reese. They are active members at James Island Christian Church, and Wes is chairman of the James Island Christian School Board.
