Michelle (Houston) `20 and Nathan Martin `18

Nathan and I met in Student Senate his senior year, my sophomore year. He was Student Body President and I was the Co-SAC director. We spent a lot of time together for Senate training and flirted the whole time! I would always try to make sure I was in his group for different projects. One day we were working at Hammer and Nails, helping paint a house, and he was working on the roof by himself! The person in charge asked if anyone wanted to help him and I immediately volunteered (very chill). We ended up talking the entire time and got caught on the roof in the rain!

We ended up getting married right after I graduated in 2020, right in the midst of the COVID outbreak. God has been with us every step of the way, and I could not be more thankful for my time at Malone with my husband!

This photo is from Malone's homecoming dance my sophomore year.
