What skill should recent grads hone?C
Communication skills are critical, both oral and written. Represent yourself well.

What is your advice for working in a secular world?
Take time to stay plugged in to Jesus. Time in the Word and prayer is a must to maintain His perspective in our work.

What’s the greatest thing Malone prepared you for?
I met both Jesus and my wife, Amy (Allgyer) while at Malone. Those two have been the central figures in my life ever since.

What skill should recent grads hone?
Communication skills are critical, both oral and written. Represent yourself well.

How did you find your first job?
I got my first job at East Canton High School, where I had done my student teaching. I believe I got that job because I made a favorable impression during student teaching. This can be summed up in one of my favorite quotes by Rick Renner, "Our lives today are nothing more than the result of the decisions we made yesterday.
