Tim Jolly '69

Tim Jolly and his wife, Patty, celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in Rome, Italy where they renewed their wedding vows.  Tim is the president of Tim Jolly Insurance in Fairlawn. He is an independent insurance agent for home, auto, business, life and health insurance. The couple lives in Akron.

Scott Hyland '96

The Davey Tree Expert Co. has promoted Scott Hyland to director of marketing.  In 2003, Hyland joined Davey and has since worked in numerous corporate communications and marketing capacities. Hyland has been responsible for direct response strategy, internet marketing and digital programs, including company websites, email marketing, mobile and paid organic search initiatives.

Hyland is a member of Davey’s President’s Council, the American Marketing Association and is an International Society of Arboriculture certified arborist. Prior to joining Davey, he worked in sports marketing and professional athlete representation for multiple firms. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in social science at Malone University.

Scott is married to Dawn (Crilow) '97. The couple has two children, Anderson and Jill.

 

Grace Therese Petersen

A daughter, Grace Therese, on  March 14, 2014 to April (Hartshorn) '09 and Paul Petersen. April, formerly a 1st grade teacher, is now a stay at home mom. Paul is a piping engineer at River Consulting. The family lives in Pittsburgh, PA.

Sophia Kleman Hollenbaugh

A daughter, Sophia Kleman, on June 17, 2014, to Mike and Erin (Kleman) Hollenbaugh ’03.  She joins brother Jack.  Erin is Associate Professor of Communication Studies at Kent State University at Stark. Mike is Director of Graduate, Adult, and online Admissions at Ashland University.  The family lives in Barberton.

Tyler Blake Montague

A son, Tyler Blake, born July 4, 2013 in Charlotte, North Carolina to Jessica (Nevergall) ’05 and Brandon Montague. Jessica is the Director of Social Services for Good Samaritan Society - Arlington. Brandon is an Office Associate at Lori Powell State Farm in Findlay. The family resides in Findlay, Ohio.

Connected Since 1975

Since graduation in 1975, these Malone alumnae have kept in touch and gathered regularly to reminisce and catch up. Sara (Fleming) Bender, Lori (Linerode) Dickerhoof, Cindy (Allen) Groetz, Brenda (Frederick) Hostetler, Gloria (Schneider) Jasperse, Carol (Reinhold) Smith, and Sandy (Kuhn) Vaughn met for a Thanksgiving brunch and spent a spring weekend in Columbiana, Ohio, during the past year.

 

 

Hudson Conner Brantingham

A son, Hudson Conner, born on March 19, 2014 to Lydia Brantingham-Payne '04 and husband, Corey Payne. Hudson joins big brother, Graham Everett. Lydia is the Marketing and Communications Manager for a medical manufacturer. The family lives in Roanoke, VA.
