Jason Carthen ’04 MA was recognized by Forbes as one of the top Leadership and Business coaches in the country. Carthen is president for Redeemed Management & Consulting LLC and a former member of the World Champion New England Patriots. He published his third book "52 Ways to Tackle Leadership for Your Success" in 2016.  Carthen and his wife, Miredy, have one daughter and live in Aurora.

Sam Campitella

Sam Campitella '09 is Vice President of Sales at Vivid Impact in Louisville, Kentucky. He has previously held positions as a General Manager, Regional General Manager,  and Executive Director.  Vivid Impact is a leading creative graphic communications company in the Midwest. Campitella is a Malone Pioneer baseball alumnus.  Sam and his wife Lauren Campitella have two daughters, Chloe, age 2, and Sadie, age 8 months. The family lives in Louisville, KY and attends Southeast Christian Church.

Danielle Welling '16 is a Library Assistant for the Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County. She is a communication arts graduate and a member of the Alpha Psi Omega theatre honors society.

Amy Frate '00, RN-BC, BSN, MBA, MSN, DBA is the Director of Senior Mental Health at Affinity Medical Center in Massillon. Previously, she was Program Director of Healthcare at Bryant & Stratton College. Frate earned her MBA at Malone University.

Dana Patterson '99

Dana Patterson '99 has been named vice president and chief financial officer at Stark Community Foundation effective July 1, 2017. She most recently served as senior manager at Maloney + Novotny, one of Ohio’s largest full-service CPA firms. She is a Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Global Management Accountant and Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor. Patterson is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s and Ohio Society of CPA’s. She is also a member of St. Paul Catholic Church’s music ministry team.

Chase Horvath '00, '04

Chase Horvath '00, '04 is the wrestling coach at Tuslaw High School in Massillon. His team posted a 36-1 record this year and he was named “Coach of the Year.” Horvath's overall record as head coach is 225-29. He is a Tuslaw graduate and a state champion in wrestling and played football. A standout on Malone's football team, he earned both a bachelor's degree and master’s degree in Education. Chase and his wife, Carrie (Dimit) live in the Tuslaw district and have three children, Blaine, Blaxdon, and Bella.

Megan Kingsborough '09

Megan Kingsborough '09 is an Office Coordinator at Lawn Life in Cleveland. Lawn Life employs inner city teens (age 16 to 24) from at-risk environments with real-life landscaping and home renovation jobs that act as a stepping stone into the workforce.

Christina Graw '11

Christina Graw '11 is a marketing strategist for the National Alliance on Mental Illness in Norfolk, Virginia, marketing assistant for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Graw helps nonprofits find and tell their own powerful stories for the right medium. She writes, "I am passionate about finding and sharing untold stories. I work to tell stories of people and nonprofits working tirelessly to change the world for good."

Sara Holtzman '08

Sara Holtzman '08 is Coordinator of Fitness and Programming at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. She completed a master of science degree from the University of Pittsburgh studying Health and Physical Activity and Clinical Health and Fitness.  Sara is also a certified personal trainer.

Jarrad Awwiller '16

Jarrad Awwiller '16 is the new Theatre Stage Manager at Malone University. He will track all information pertaining to the theatre, work with students and help direct shows. 

Ashleigh (Ralston) Alexander '09

Ashleigh (Ralston) Alexander '09 has been promoted to Senior Mortgage Loan Processor at  E Mortgage Management, LLC in the Cleveland/Akron area. She is a member of Kappa Delta Pi and a four-year letter winner with the Pioneer softball team. Ashleigh and her husband Pete have two daughters, Carleigh and Joslynn.

Alton Thompson '06

Alton Thompson '06 has been promoted to Vice President,  Commercial Lender at Century National Bank, a division of the Park National Bank. Thompson has 11 years of banking experience. He earned a bachelor's degree in business and finance and was a four- year letterman in baseball.  Thompson is enrolled in the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.

Nancy Harcar '94

Nancy Harcar '94 is an English Language Fellow in Palestinian territories. She is engaging in educational diplomacy through the teaching of English writing, conversation, and other courses at An-Najah University. Karli Kadlecek '16 is now Marketing Project Manager at Miami Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Kadlecek, a Pioneer soccer alumna, majored in communication arts with an emphasis in public relations.

Natalie Gallucci '13 is now Chain Restaurant Account Coordinator at TriMark SS Kemp & Co. in Cleveland. She graduated from Malone's accelerated Management Program (MMP) majoring in Project Management.

Andrew Marcum '15 MBA has been promoted to Lead Analyst, IS Standards at The J.M. Smucker Company in Orrville. Andrew started at Smucker in 2008 as an applications director.

Anita Mckaney '99, RN, MSN

Anita Mckaney '99 RN, MSN, has published her second book "Anointed Devotions," a 52-week devotional journal written to help readers develop a deeper, palpable, ongoing relationship with Jesus through intentional engagement with the Word of God. Mckaney is a nursing educator and founder of the Wifestyle Image Network. John Danes '02, '17 MBA

John Danes '02, '17, MBA, is Vice President of Operations at Kent Elastomer Products in the Cleveland/Akron area. A resident of Palmyra, John is active in the community as well. He is a past president of the Portage Hot Stove community group and the co-founder of No Child without a Gift, nonprofit group that provides holiday gifts for underprivileged children.

Josh Harris '99

Josh Harris '99 is the Director of Organizational Effectiveness and Strategic Initiatives at the Stark County District Library. He is responsible for the library system's IT operations, organizational analytics, and communications/marketing. Prior to his promotion, Josh was the Communications Director at the library.

Lisa Fisher '01 is now an accounting analyst for BluJay Solutions in Holland, Michigan. Previously, she was an accounting analyst at Lean Logistics. Lisa earned an MBA from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.

Rachel Dooley '12 is a Sales And Marketing Intern at A&D Pool in Sarasota, Florida. She previously completed The World Race, a Christian mission trip visiting 11 countries in 11 months to serve "the least of these," an outreach of Adventures in Missions.

Zach Murray '17 will teach English at the Orthodox Coptic Seminary in Cairo, Egypt. His class will be part of the training of ministers of the Gospel in the Coptic Church.
