In summer 2015, Elizabeth Unger ’13 studied evolution and maintenance of biodiversity and the effects of human intervention in the Amazon. Elizabeth, a temporary wild animal keeper at the Akron Zoo in Akron, Ohio, took the graduate course in pursuit of her master’s degree from Miami University’s Global Field Program.
