Rocky Bourquin '83

BourquinRocky Bourquin '83 is the head baseball coach for the Minerva High School Lions. Previously, he had a successful 10-year coaching career at Canton South compiling an 181-62 record. Bourquin helped Canton South to three Northeastern Buckeye Conference championships and four district title game appearance before moving to Athletic Director in 2003. Bourquin retired as an administrator from Canton South in 2012.

Bourquin, a four-year letterman in Pioneer baseball, was voted First Team All District 22 in 1981 and 1982. He was the team captain and team MVP in ’81 and ’82 and earned the Mr. Pioneer Class award for the ’81 season. In 1995, he was inducted into the Malone Athletic Hall of Fame.
