Learn about your Malone Alumni Resources!

Once a Pioneer, always a Pioneer!

The Malone University Alumni Office is happy to support and care for our Pioneer community through a variety of resources. Here's an overview of ways our office is here to support you in 2026 (and beyond!):

Campus Resources: Wellness Center, Library, Community Worship

  • Campus resources remain available to Pioneers even after graduation! Here are a few to note:
    • Alumni can purchase a membership to the Wellness Center for a reduced fee. To inquire on purchasing a membership, please contact Joyce Byler at jbyler@malone.edu.
    • Alumni can access free internet and resources at the Everett Cattell Library anytime during operational hours. For hours and more information, click here
    • Community Worship is always available to our alumni. Join us in the Johnson Center on Wednesdays at 10 am!

Career Resources with Handshake

  • Handshake is an employer engagement resource that includes a job board. Organizations can post internships, full/part time jobs, events, and volunteer opportunities for Malone students (or young alumni) to participate in. What makes Handshake unique is that each posting is approved by our career services office and specifically listed for Malone students. It's a great way to share opportunities at your organization with fellow Pioneers!

To learn more about Handshake, check out this blog post.
In-person Events

  • Homecoming & Family Weekend takes place each fall and is our biggest alumni gathering of the year! There's a variety of events throughout this weekend that can vary each year, but it always includes our hallmark events: Golden Pioneer Luncheon, celebrating our 50th-year reunion class; Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony; and the Alumni Awards Banquet.

  • Regional Events are hosted outside of the Canton area to better connect with Pioneers across the region (and country!). We promote these in our monthly newsletter in the "events" section as well at the bottom of our alumni website

  • Reunion/Departmental Events are hosted in collaboration with different groups across campus, from athletic team reunions to music performances. We promote these in our monthly newsletter in the "events" section as well at the bottom of our alumni website

Communications

Malone Alumni Executive Board

  • The Malone Alumni Executive Board is comprised of alumni who provide leadership for Malone alumni, provide a voice for our alumni community on key university topics, and support current Pioneers through their input, service, and giving.
