Friends Disaster Service Book Released

Friends Disaster Service BookMalone alumni often heard about and volunteered with the Friends Disaster Service relief arm of the EFC-ER, our affiliated denomination of Evangelical Friends. The new book's promo reads:

Tornado. Flood. Fire. Earthquake. Hurricane. Disasters happen to anyone, anywhere. Since the devastating Xenia, Ohio tornado in 1974, and for the next 32 years, Dean and Freeda Johnson, and the volunteers that worked with them in Friends Disaster Service, provided help to the people who were affected by tragedy. These are the inspiring stories of people who were the victims of devastating disasters, shown hope and relief by the love and kindness of Friends Disaster Service. As quoted by a F.D.S. worker, “It’s what Jesus would do if He were here.” Buy the book here.
