Amanda (Eckelberry) Kelly ’01

amanda-kelly-copyAmanda (Eckelberry) Kelly, ’01, was recently awarded the Ohio Society for Public Health Education’s “Outstanding Contributions to Health Education” at the annual Health Educators Institute at Mohican State Park. Kelly was recognized for her work throughout Ohio in policy, systems and environmental change for overall health, injury prevention and healthy lifestyles. Kelly is currently the Grants Coordinator for the Stark County Health Department. She, her husband Scott, and daughter Emma reside in North Canton.

Alicia Hopkins ’09

alicia-and-mayorAlicia Hopkins ’09 was presented with a proclamation naming October Dysautonomia Awareness Month by City of Cuyahoga Falls. She received the proclamation from Mayor Don Walters at the City Council Meeting. Alicia writes, “I requested this proclamation to raise awareness of dysautonomia and to help millions, like myself, who struggle with this disease.” Read the full story.
