Lydia Carmany '10

Lydia Carmany is the Development and Marketing Coordinator at Communities In Schools of Los Angeles, which provides at-risk public school students with adult mentors, and connects them to community organizations that help them to stay in school and achieve in life. With prior nonprofit development experience in Ohio, New Jersey, and Santa Monica, she also has a background as a creative writing teacher and theater production assistant. Lydia graduated with a B.A. in liberal arts from Malone. She hopes to further her reach in educational nonprofit and to connect good people with worthy causes in Los Angeles and beyond. Lydia is married to Aaron Ensweiler, a film executive, and has a little dog named Harvey.
