Scott Hyland '96

The Davey Tree Expert Co. has promoted Scott Hyland to director of marketing.  In 2003, Hyland joined Davey and has since worked in numerous corporate communications and marketing capacities. Hyland has been responsible for direct response strategy, internet marketing and digital programs, including company websites, email marketing, mobile and paid organic search initiatives.

Hyland is a member of Davey’s President’s Council, the American Marketing Association and is an International Society of Arboriculture certified arborist. Prior to joining Davey, he worked in sports marketing and professional athlete representation for multiple firms. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law and earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in social science at Malone University.

Scott is married to Dawn (Crilow) '97. The couple has two children, Anderson and Jill.
