The Malone University Athletic Department and Hall of Fame Committee have officially unveiled the 2026 Class to the Malone University Athletics Hall of Fame. The new inductees will be honored on Saturday, September 19 during Homecoming & Family Weekend at the Hall of Fame Ceremony inside the Johnson Center. Lin McDowell '96 is the weekend morning news anchor and weeknight traffic reporter at Charlotte, North Carolina's powerhouse AM radio station, News/Talk 1110 WBT. Pioneer fans will remember Lin as a guest announcer for Malone athletic teams. He produced and hosted three different radio talk shows including a one hour classic Christian music program called "The Flashback Show" that aired on a Canton station and can be heard via the station's web site around the world. Lin also served as a member-at-large of the Malone University Alumni Executive Board.
