Pastors Ruthie ’78 and Don '77 Trigg

Ruthie TriggRuthie Trigg '78 is a 2012 graduate of Ashland Theological Seminary, a Provisional member of the East Ohio Annual Conference, and in process toward elders orders in the United Methodist Church. She is serving the Rittman United Methodist Church, in Rittman, OH. Ruthie is married to Don Trigg '77, pastor of the Seville United Methodist Church, in Seville, OH, and chairperson of the East Ohio Commission on Archives and History.

At Malone, Steve Styer, a mutual friend, convinced Jason to call me. He was sure we were a match! I had noticed Jason across the cafeteria multiple times, so I was pretty excited to get that call! Our first date was spent hanging out in The Barn chatting the evening away. We were together from that point on! Whenever Steve saw us together, he would say, "Ahhhh my creation!" We've been married for 27 1/2 years and have a beautiful 17 year old daughter. I'm so thankful that Steve gave Jason that little nudge to get things started.
