Brian Shoop `80


 Brian Shoop `80  After coaching college baseball for 39 years Brian Shoop announced his retirement May 10, 2020. He is a member of the 1,000 wins club, and spent the last 14 years at UAB (University of Alabama at Birmingham). He was a head coach for 31 years compiling 1,061 career victories including the 2001 NAIA National Championship at Birmingham Southern College. He played for Coach Bob Starcher from 1977-80 at Malone College.   The next step is undetermined, but has included seeking the Lord for the next mission. Meanwhile Brian and Brenda celebrated 39 years of marriage and have spent time traveling to visit family in Ohio, Florida and Missouri.
