 Joan (Pierce) Burrier `74 on November 26, 2010. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Martha L. Netzly; and brother, Gene Emerick. Joan leaves behind her beloved husband of 32 years, Randy L. Burrier; a sister, Elaine Pierce of Navarre; a brother, Robert (Shirley) Emerick of Navarre; and nieces and nephews.

At Malone, Steve Styer, a mutual friend, convinced Jason to call me. He was sure we were a match! I had noticed Jason across the cafeteria multiple times, so I was pretty excited to get that call! Our first date was spent hanging out in The Barn chatting the evening away. We were together from that point on! Whenever Steve saw us together, he would say, "Ahhhh my creation!"
