Sandra (Shadle) `78 and Gene Wilson `76

Gene and I met at Malone in the blizzard of 1974! There was a 24 inch snowstorm at the beginning of December term. Since classes could not get started for 3 days there was lots of time for snow fun. We met during a snowball fight on campus, then started spending time together decorating dorms for Christmas, going for walks in the snow and having dinner together. Our 1st date was going to a Hanukkah service for 'Christ and Culture' class followed by a James Bond movie on campus on Friday December 13! The beginning of a life long love. We got married September 2, 1978 and have been married for over 43 years.
