Even though Steven and I both competed on the Malone track team for over a year together, we didn't really know each other until we volunteered with the track team to move furniture for the YWCA. We were partnered up together and spent most of the day getting to know each other and moving furniture. Our friendship slowly grew into a relationship that has now turned into a beautiful life together. Steven and I will celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary this June. We have two beautiful daughters, Makenna (6) and Aniyah (4).

At Malone, Steve Styer, a mutual friend, convinced Jason to call me. He was sure we were a match! I had noticed Jason across the cafeteria multiple times, so I was pretty excited to get that call! Our first date was spent hanging out in The Barn chatting the evening away. We were together from that point on! Whenever Steve saw us together, he would say, "Ahhhh my creation!" We've been married for 27 1/2 years and have a beautiful 17 year old daughter. I'm so thankful that Steve gave Jason that little nudge to get things started.
